Outpatient & Intensive Outpatient

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Concise Recovery’s Outpatient program can be the bridge between your current life and the person you want to become. Whether you are transitioning out of traditional inpatient addiction treatment or just beginning your journey of recovery, our outpatient program is ideal for breaking free from addiction— without the time commitment that’s required from a residential program or partial hospitalization program.

Many men and woman suffering from addiction desperately want to seek treatment, but have personal responsibilities to their families and careers that cannot be transferred to someone else while they check into an inpatient program. This is why Concise Recovery Center offers outpatient addiction treatment: an ideal choice for those who are serious about sobriety but need a flexible program that will work around their schedules.

We know that life’s daily challenges can make it difficult to adhere to a full-time treatment program. Concise Recovery’s treatment philosophy is built around your needs, so our Outpatient treatment program is our most flexible if you have a busy schedule.

Outpatient treatment is an excellent way to continue building the work that’s already been established with detox and residential inpatient treatment. The Concise Recovery staff is committed to helping clients uncover and work through underlying issues that have led to their addiction. As our clients gain insight about their individual challenges and strengths, they are being fully empowered to develop superior coping mechanisms and positive behaviors.

Treatment sessions are offered throughout the week, at times that are most convenient for the patient. These sessions include individual and group therapy sessions rooted in a variety of therapeutic techniques (CBT, DBT, EMDR), all at one’s own pace. This allows them to perform regular tasks, live at home, care for family members, and continue living in their own home. Our outpatient services are ideal for those with mild substance abuse problems.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

When most people think of a treatment center, they think of the traditional 30- day stay at a rehab facility. And while residential treatment is absolutely effective, it’s not the only type of treatment available. Depending on the stage of your recovery, or what’s occurring in your daily life, our intensive outpatient program can be the best option for you. The main components of outpatient treatment at Concise Recovery include one-on-one counseling with an addiction expert, one-to-one appointments with qualified medical doctors and psychiatrists, group therapy, and educational sessions.

The Intensive Outpatient Program, often abbreviated as IOP, is developed for those deeply committed to recovery – it provides additional accountability measures and a more rigorous schedule, tapering as success is demonstrated. This treatment plan offers both structure and well-defined milestones, enabling the patient to see rapid progress and ensuring accountability at every step.

IOP includes routine drug testing, individual therapy (CBT, DBT, EMDR), group therapy (outings, age- or gender-specific groups), mindfulness training (yoga, meditation, regulated breathing), 12-Step meetings, and life-skills training, as well as education about addiction and its effects on the family unit. This is the best choice for those who are fully committed to sobriety, but who still need to be able to work and care for dependents. It is also ideal for those seeking to transition from a full inpatient program to life out of the treatment center.

How Can I Tell if IOP is Right For Me?

  • Have you already experienced some form of addiction treatment? Our IOP is ideal for those who have already established some level of success with a previous program. The IOP is great for those wanting to transition to a healthy way of living in their daily life. By progressing from frequent and time-intensive therapy to a more relaxed program structure, you can avoid the pitfalls that are common for people who finish a residential inpatient program.
  • Do you lack the time for a traditional residential program? You can still benefit greatly from an outpatient program at Concise Recovery. You’ll still receive some of the best components of our more time-intensive programs— with the ability to fit our program within your schedule.
  • Is your substance abuse mild? The level of treatment is often dictated by the nature of your addiction. If your problem isn’t overly excessive, but you still recognize that you have a problem, visiting our facility for a few days out of the week can help you curtail drug and alcohol abuse.
